Here is a copy of the book report assignment due February 26th. Hard copies will also be passed out in class. Please try to get a book checked off by the time we go off track on January 22nd so you can read the book while you are off. Let me know if there are any questions.
February Book Report
Historical Fiction- Due February 26th
Historical fiction presents readers with a story that takes place during a notable period in history, and usually during a significant event in that period (wars, civil rights, etc...). Historical fiction often presents actual events from the point of view of people living in that time period. The characters in the story are not real.

Time Line
Due February 26th
After reading a book of history or historical fiction, make an illustrated time line showing at least 5 events of the story in order. Include pictures of each event, as well as a description of what happened and who was involved. Must be done on at least a half piece of poster board.
Grading will be based on neatness, color, illustrations and descriptions of at least 5 main events in the story. Must be prepared to share with others in a small group setting.
